In the past, the tools for day trading were available only to professionals. Day Trading is a process and could take years to achieve the desired results, unless you are following a proven daytrading system. Day trading is a high risk game as it is very speculative in nature.

Day trading requires a certain amount of capital. Don’t begin your day trading with money that you can not afford to lose. Most spread betting firms will give you access to a day trading system that runs happily in the browser of any low end PC on a dial-up internet account.
Day traders typically hold stocks anywhere from only a few seconds to several hours but they never keep stocks overnight. Day trading can be one of the safest forms of trading. Any day trader who starts with the expectation of becoming an instant success is setting himself up for failure. The key to consistently profitable day trading is having lots of different trades available.
